Whether you’re writing for your school newspaper or the New York Times. Anyway need to know how to write a news.

1. Collects news .

2. For the school newspaper, you can write about TV news or newspapers (but you must not plagiarize). For a large newspaper, go where the news is happening (if possible), or use any available source.

3. Interview people. The interviews provide different views of different people.

4. Investigate to find some facts that may be used in the article.

5. Write the Article.

6. Start with a good thing that grabs the attention, and continues to the end. Put the most important information at the beginning of the article.

7. Show it to a friend or your editor. You point out the errors.

8. Edit errors that you indicated.

9. Read the article again. Would you be interested in this item if you were a regular person who opened the newspaper?

10. Email the article to your editor when finished.
